Spring is in the Air: How To Make a Cedar Wood Planter

Welcome Spring 2021 we are ready to enjoy all the beautiful flowers that you will be bringing this year. Spring is seriously one of my favorite seasons. I’m ready to show you a simple DIY planter for Spring time. You can have your kids join the fun as well. Thank you to my hubby for helping me out with all the cutting of the boards.

Supplies you will need

  • 2 6ft Cedar Fence Planks
  • Wood Glue
  • Nail Gun
  • 180 Sander Paper
  • Your choice of flowers

Ok so when you have all your supplies with you and ready to get to work. Here are the steps you will be taking to make your very own flower planter.

Steps To Make Flower Planter

  • Smooth out the boards
  • Cut them to the size you wish
  • Glue and Nail them together
  • Give a final sanding to smooth everything over
  • All done and ready to add your flowers of choice

With Easter around the corner I thought it was fun to add some bunnies and easter eggs to the mix. You can also give these beautiful flower planters as gifts for someone special in your life. I really enjoyed making these with the help of my husband.
