So I heard that you aren’t a Magic Key Holder for Disneyland? Say what, No way! Well you aren’t alone because I’m also not a Magic Key Holder for Disneyland. I literally saved all my pennies and quarters to take my kids here. With everything going on I know many families are probably hesitant to take their families out to a theme park. I also was very hesitant in the beginning as well. Businesses were slowly opening but that didn’t mean that all families were ready to go back to normal. I know I had to slowly go back to my favorite places. Some families still haven’t been able to get out and that’s ok. Take your time as everyone deals with situations differently. So here is what you should know before hoping in the car with your family and heading on over to Disneyland in Anaheim CA.
First you have to choose a date you wish to take your family. Then you grab your computer to make reservations for the day that you wish to take your family. Choose the park you wish to visit the day of and then purchase the tickets online. Don’t forget to purchase your parking ticket as well. We parked in the Toy Story parking section and then hoped on the shuttle. You can also walk if you wish but we just decided to take the shuttle. Mask are required on the shuttle.
Before entering the park you get your bags checked but that isn’t out of the norm it has always happened. Entering the park was super easy as you just show you Digital tickets. The kids were so excited to visit Disneyland Park as we haven’t been since my daughter was 3 years old. One thing that I noticed is that the signature books are no longer available. The kids still got to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Everyone was safe when getting in line for the Character pictures.
The top Rides that the kids had to get on while at Disneyland Park
- Space Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Matterhorn Bobsleds
- Autopia
- Star Tours The Adventures Continue FULL RIDE in 4K
- Haunted Mansion ( We didn’t get on this one because the line was long) I have been on it and it’s so fun. So maybe head on over to this ride the minute you arrive at Disneyland.
- Tomorrowland
Food that I tried while at the Park
- Mickey Mouse Pretzel I got the cheese but it was cold so it didn’t taste good.
- Churros those are a must
- Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Cheese Cake. This one taste more like pumpkin than cheesecake.
- Mickey Mouse shaped rice crispy.
- Popcorn the kids loved it
Overall the visit was fun and the kids had blast. The park was very organized and it seemed like the lines were steady. We were able to get on more rides that I can ever remember. The longest line we waited was 45 minutes I felt like that wasn’t to bad especially because it was the Star Tour ride. It was a successful day but If I decide to visit Disneyland again this year I would choose tier 1. The day I visited it was Tier 4 so I want to see the difference between those days.
Cheers and thank you for reading my visit to Disneyland. Hope you get to take your family this year if not no worries there is always next year. Stay safe and have a Magical Time at Disneyland.
