A great way to introduce our little ones to veggies

A great way to introduce our little ones to veggies

I know I’m not the only one that struggled with our little ones eating veggies. Looking for different ways on how to introduce our kids to veggies? I’m always on the lookout for what other moms are doing. Thankfully I have a community of moms that I follow along and they share many ideas on what they are doing. One thing I have noticed is that making fun sandwiches for our kids makes it fun for them. Let me share some ideas on what you can do for your kids to enjoy veggies.

So like I have mentioned above making fun sandwiches is always a great way to start. I know many kids like mine love Mickey Mouse and it’s someone that they have been seeing since they were little. Either by visiting Disneyland or Tv. So I get some Oroweat Organic White made with Whole Wheat Bread that also features Disney’s Mickey  Mouse and Minnie Mouse. I make them some Mickey Mouse sandwiches and their faces light up of excitement.

I try to stay as close to what they already like to eat but add something new once a week. Below I made some turkey sandwiches and added some avocado and bell peppers. For the sides I have some nuts and green beans. I used some Oroweat Organic White made with Whole Wheat Bread. I really like how it’s plant based and Non-GMO Project Verified. As I’m always looking for good quality food for my kids. Teaching them young so they can learn healthy habits as they get older.

I also made some peanut butter sandwiches with fresh strawberries on the top. Such a great idea and it’s super easy to make. You can also have your little ones help out when you make them. You can ask them what kind of green they would like to try out this time. It’s always fun for the kids to join the fun and see that they are making.

Here are some fun facts about Oroweat Organic White made with Whole Wheat Bread they use USDA Organic ingredients that promote bio-diversity that also make the soil richer. They also bake the bread using  renewable wind energy. Learn more about Oroweat Organic White made with Whole Wheat Bread here
